Portland’s TENTS are throwing out their earworm hooks with charming DIY visuals in their latest video accoutrement. “Back Yards” watches like a static tour of band’s actual backyard as backing vocalist Amy introduces us with Bob Dylan-style cue cards explaining their mission – filming in three days per last-minute request of their label. Her background harmonies seem to echo a response to lead swooner Brian Hall’s optimistic, high visions of warmth and love unhindered. His own nonchalant, coffee sipping swagger carries a subtly-smooth country rhythm that gently layers with an underlying sense of melancholic fuzz.

Deer Keeps Pace is out May 11th via Badman Recording.
