D.C.’s own SHAED are following up strong on their breakthrough LP with “You Got Me Like,” a low and slow jam whose video accoutrement profiles our artists in question. Featuring Fall Classic artist snny, cool hip hop jams play along scenes of indoor tropicalia and unfettered affection for the fairer half.

Here’s what all three members of SHAED have to say about the track…

This song is about the crazy wonderful relationship I have with Max and Spencer. Max is my best friend and Spencer is my fiancée, and we all share a house where we record our music. It’s insane but I love it. – Chelsea

We hooked up with snny at an Airbnb in Brooklyn. We played him the track and he laid down his verse in under an hour. He’s such a fun creative guy, and we try to hang whenever we come to NY. – Max

We wanted the video to reflect the essence of our relationship, fun and a little strange. We ordered a couple colorful props and messed around for a few hours in a studio in Baltimore, and Max Haben (the director) captured the vibe we were hoping for. – Spencer
