It’s nice to see Wiz Khalifa smoke something that mellows him out enough to chill with Abel Tesfaye of The Weeknd. Thanks to a smokey haze of a beat and some ethereal vocals, “Remember You” definitely feels more like a Weeknd song featuring Wiz than the other way around. A collaboration between these two has been rumored about since last spring. With the actual version of this ode to groupies everywhere, it’s safe to say it doesn’t disappoint.

While admittedly only a guilty-pleasure fan of Wiz’s, after the first single, “Work Hard, Play Hard” and now “Remember You”, I’m excited to hear more off of O.N.I.F.C., due out December 4th via Atlantic. Wiz’s ascent into the collective mainstream seems even more inevitable after this release, but with allegations of a hit-and-run coming out earlier this week, he might not want to be boasting about driving fast while on some gin…
