Thievery Corporation is out with a new track featuring Mr. Lif (of The Perceptionists) that is sure to be the new anthem for the Occupy movement (sorry Miley). It was only a matter of time before the D.C. natives (and godfathers of the music scene) produced a song about the movement. Mr. Lif explains the song as their “attempt to offer inspiration, energy, and hopefully a morale boost to the Movement as it will take persistence and resilience to bring about change to the collective consciousness of our culture.” Not to mention, the hook is catchy as hell.
