Australian electronic duo The Presets haven’t released an album since 2008’s fantastic Apocalypso. This long wait only makes the video premier for their new song, “Youth in Trouble,” even more welcome. “Youth in Trouble,” a brisk, six-minute jaunt through the kind of pop-influenced electronic sound The Presets are known for, is the first song off of the group’s highly anticipated upcoming effort, Pacifica. The video itself—directed by New York-based visual artist Yoshi Sodeoka—is brimming with intricate geometric patterns and bright, trippy color combinations. It’s weird, yet its odd disjointedness flows well with the track.
