The Knocks‘ “Blackout” quickly became my summer anthem last year, which I guess tells you quite a bit about how my last summer went. In fact, I spelled out the exact experience when I shared said jam last May. While it’s hard to top the original production put forth by B-Roc and J-Patt, DJ Fresh Direct and rapper ZAK! did just that with their remix of the heavy drinking anthem.  The chopped up retake keeps the catchy-as-all-hell chorus, then gets all sorts of fun during the verses.
