It may be too early to start thinking about Christmas, but it’s never too early to start drafting a comprehensive list of everything you want. There may not be a gift-wielding saint creeping down your chimney any time soon, but Chicago-based Santah can bring your wishlist into your living room faster than Amazon.com. Assuming, of course, you’ve also been window shopping for the following items: 1. soulful warbling 2. stripped-down guitars 3. a boy-girl vocalist duo that seamlessly blends together like a perfect androgynous dream. We caught Santah last March at SXSW and were instantly charmed by their their sound, somehow both thick and simultaneously airy, like a dark chocolate mousse. If it works live on a rooftop in a Texas spring and it works on my speakers as I’m curled up on my couch in a brisk DC fall, I think it’s fair to say it just works.

Santah’s debut album, White Noise Bed, dropped back in 2012, and they’ve been touring pretty relentlessly since. Fortunately they took a break to record You’re Still a Lover, and though the EP won’t be available to buy until October 16th, we’ve got a few choice selections below that should convince you to go ahead and pre-order here.
