The last time we checked in with Viennese wunderkind S O H N, he had just released the title track, “The Wheel,” off of his debut EP due out November 5th on UK-based label Aesop. Lucky for us, S O H N hopped on Soundcloud this morning to deliver the double B-side from the EP, “Red Lines.” Where “The Wheel” had syncopated snaps and a quickened pace, “Red Lines” has a more subtle, subdued feel with an instrumental backdrop suited for an introspective Frank Ocean verse. The track sways and swells with a muted melody and attentuated drum clicks which quicken ever-so-slightly with each successive chorus. With “Red Lines,” S O H N showcases not only his seemingly infinite potential, but also his impressive stylistic diversity. Grab a copy of The Wheel on Aesop on November 5th.
