Rachel Goodrich – Light Bulb (ANR Remix)
Two of Miami’s finest get together on this one! The original version of “Light Bulb” is an amazingly whimsical, kazoo-laden jam from the always quirky and engaging personality of singer/songwriter Rachel Goodrich. The track can be found on her most recent, self-titled album released on her own Yellow Bear Records imprint. You might recognize the song from a series of Crayola advertisements or perhaps an episode of Weeds.
Enter in MJ and Brian of Miami duo ANR to lend their remixing skills. The guys have recently done remixes for Kisses, Kele and MillionYoung. On this one, they channel their inner James Murphy. Perhaps in memoriam of LCD Soundsystem, ANR have concocted a super DFA-esque take on the original song with very specific Sound Of Silver era LCD Soundsystem vibes.
