It’s hard to wrap my brain around the fact that next week it will be August, the Sunday of summer months. It’s hot out (don’t we know it), there’s no school and there are still summer pool parties to attend, but the promise of autumn and orange leaves and corduroy is lurking quietly in the background, making me drag my sandal-clad heels and dust off my copy of Plans in preparation for the imminent season.
