You may not know it from our editorial year end track list, but Niki & The Dove’s “The Drummer” was one of my personal favorite songs of 2011. The Swedish outfit’s blend of electronic dance music and alluringly haunting vocals — courtesy of front-woman Malin Dahlström — is something that you all should be prepared to reckon with in 2012. The BBC agrees too. The latest from these Sub Pop signees is a video for 2010′s “DJ, Ease My Mind.” It may be a bit old, but think of it as the track finally getting the high-production video treatment it deserves. Niki & The Dove’s self-titled album is scheduled for release via Sub Pop/Mercury on May 14th.
