Roots rock has been making quite a resurgence in the last few years and D.C. trio Misun is the latest group to devote itself to those steady dancing grooves and dirty guitars. The band relies on machined beats, switching keys for drums, and on “Harlot” the electronic rhythms play well with the quick guitar riffs. Add in smoky, warbly vocals and the image of 60s pop is complete. The track is smooth and low key, and yet playful enough to keep toes tapping. Stream it below.
