Consistency is the key and that is exactly what Pyramid has in spades. Everything he’s put out has been top notch. Pyramid first popped up in my waking life with the Destiny EP, in which he, along with MEO and #125, demonstrated his interpretation of “destiny” in three parts. With this remix of Foxes‘ “Youth,” he’s proved that he deserves some recognition on sound of 2012 lists. With a slow drawn out kickdrum beat in the intro and Loui Rose Allen’s sultry vocals (my new favorite female vocalist), the track oozes sexiness.
