It’s the ninth day of 2012, you’re feeling a little down because you’ve already broken at least one of your four resolutions. You’re at your desk and you’re dragging a little bit with a full work week ahead of you. I feel your pain.

But I have the antidote and it comes in the form of Los Angeles band Electric Guest. The band was a breakout winner at CMJ, getting lots of love at the ATG official CMJ showcase. They just released their video for “This Head I Hold”. It’s a fun, warehouse performance with fantastic cinematography. The song itself is deliciously catchy, with a riff on the keys that will be stuck in your head for days. So snap out of your funk, get your feet tapping and head nodding in your cubicle.

The band’s debut full length, produced by Danger Mouse, will be out in early 2012 via Downtown Records.
