Viceroy is like that friend who not only constantly finds a new hobby to dabble in but has an uncanny ability to make it all look so easy. Oh, you built a Victorian birdhouse out of upcycled dental floss? Cool. What’s this, a freshly baked pumpkin muffin made entirely from vegetables and spices you found in your garden? That’s great, it’s not like my last batch of muffins is still being used by the kids next door as street hockey pucks or anything. Much like that chronically talented friend, we’d resent Viceroy for his skills if he weren’t so generous with them.

So it’s no surprise that a mere two weeks after dropping an edit of perhaps the most beloved Talking Heads song of all time, he’s moved on to remix the spicy new single from DCUP, the Australian DJ half-responsible for putting 2010′s “We No Speak Americano” into the world. DCUP may know how to plant a refrain in our heads that sticks around for years, but only Viceroy can throw in the pixie dust that flies our head straight to the clouds.
