Apparently I haven’t been keeping up with the Scandanavian pop scene enough recently because, man, did I whiff on this guy Dante. Dante Kinnunen, once the drummer for The Concretes, now shows that his strength is as a producer and frontman. “Won’t Go,” which is derived from Adele’s “He Won’t Know,” is an incredibly smooth R&B and soul-influenced jam that has jumped to the top of my iTunes rotation. You won’t find the track on his recent release, Runners, since a certain 8-time Grammy Award winner’s record label says otherwise. So for now, enjoy this visual compliment, directed by fellow Swede Olle Kirchmeier following Dante’s recent trip to China.
