Pacific Air are rolling into 2013 strong. With a phenomenal debut EP — Long Live Koko — under their belt, the L.A. duo have already kicked off a tour opening for Walk the Moon and will soon be taking over the West Coast as support for Ra Ra Riot. Those of you lucky enough to snag tickets for the Walk the Moon show tomorrow at the 9:30 Club should make sure to get their in time for Pacific Air’s set. It’s well worth it.

To get you excited for the show, we asked the brother-brother team to whip up a playlist featuring their favorite songs as of late. You can stream them all after the jump. And in case you missed it, check out Pacific Air’s brand new video for “Float” above.

STREAM: Pacific Air – “Float”

STREAM: Bastille – “Flaws”

Pacific Air: This track demonstrates how integral production and electronics can be to songwriting these days.

DOWNLOAD: Skaters – “Done For Good”

PA: This band has a distinct energy live, and this track executes that to perfection.

STREAM: Christopher Owens – “Here We Go”

PA: The hook in this one really gets me.

STREAM: HAIM – “Don’t Save Me”

PA: This track takes everything HAIM does and puts it into their most direct form. Hooks on hooks.

DOWNLOAD: Harriet – “I Slept With All Your Mothers”

PA: Awesome sarcastic track, and one of last year’s best videos.

STREAM: Michael Kiwanuka – “Bones”

PA: This track obviously gets a lot of people because of its nostalgia factor, and it may not be inventing a new style of music, but you can tell he’s a pro at composition and writing wonderful melodies that stick with you.

STREAM: Autre Ne Veut – “Counting”

PA: This track is amazing because I think it’s really difficult to put such unique and distinguishable “tag” in this genre of music and not have it affect the feel of the song.
